ROBOTICS

Our robotics program cultivates vital skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity, while igniting an interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), through hands-on experience in designing, building, and programming robots. Emphasizing teamwork and collaboration, the program prepares students for a technology-driven future by providing practical skills and a strong foundation in STEM disciplines.

FUTURE ENGINEERS

CLA participates in the Robotics program, which started at CLA in 2014. The middle and high school robotics competition’s mission is to engage and excite students about engineering, science, and technology, inspiring them to pursue careers in these fields.

Students from 7th to 12th grade at CLA have the opportunity to engage in the program, involving the construction, marketing, and sale of a robot within a six-week timeframe, fostering hands-on, fast-paced, real-time effort. It serves as a genuine confidence and team-building experience.

2 Chronicles 26:15

In Jerusalem he made machines, invented by skillful men, to be on the towers and the corners, to shoot arrows and great stones. And his fame spread far, for he was marvelously helped, till he was strong.

Critical Thinking Skills & More

Engaging in our STEM program, students develop problem-solving skills through the Engineering Design Process, enhancing technological literacy. They also gain proficiency in public speaking and networking with industry executives, aligning with sought-after workforce skills.
