The Center for History Arts and Technology (CHAT) - CHAT is a remarkable high school program that engages students in a variety of historic crafts, skills and technologies. Each Wednesday afternoon 7-12 students work on motivating historic projects from candle making to pouring lead soldiers, from creating historic clothing to building furniture. Annual historic presentations are made for the public.

Leadership, Apprenticeships and Service (LAPS) - LAPS is another innovative program that provides opportunities for older high school students to work with businesses and private sector organizations. Students are able to get real-life opportunities in areas that interest them most.
